Our annual MHS Quizz Night began with the Gallery abuzz as teams assembled for an evening of quizzing.
Fizz was quaffed and team names decided amid speculation of what fiendish questions might be posed. Ten rounds of questions and two picture rounds followed with topics ranging from current politics to ancient languages and the sounds of jubilation, debate and hilarity rang around the dining hall. Mr Newton was a superb question master and kept the fans happy with another of his famous singing rounds!
Tension mounted as the scores were tallied and the deserving winners of fizz and chocolate bunnies were the Y6 team, Risky Quizness. The Nursery Team, The Frazzled Ones, put in a valiant performance but came away with the consolation Wooden Spoons!
Mark and his team kept everyone fed with delicious pizza and garlic bread and Dawn kept the drinks flowing with a bespoke bar service to the table. Thanks as always to everyone who put in so much effort to pull off another fantastic event.
