Five members of our riding squad had a fabulous day at Felbridge Showground at the beginning of April. They competed in the NSEA Inter-School qualifier for the National Championships and won two classes - which means they're off to the Nationals!
The 70/75cm show jumping team of Emma G, Eliza B and Annabel J all rode lovely clear rounds to win and qualify. Tara B rode as an individual and went clear as well, which was fabulous.
This class was followed by the 70/75cm 'Jumping with Style' arena eventing class and the same three girls, Emma, Eliza B and Annabel, joined by Eliza F, won again and Eliza B was 4th which gives her an individual qualification as well. The National Championships take place at Addington Equestrian Centre, Buckinghamshire in October.
A fabulous day and one which shows that the regular training sessions in Friday Afternoon Activities are paying off.
