The Year 3 and 4 Inter-House Swimming Gala was undertaken in bright sunshine and the children had a very exciting afternoon.
Very well done to all the children who swam so well and tried their very best. The individual boy who stood out was William P (4D) who beat two records, the Yr4 Boys’ Backstroke with a new time of 26.45 beating the previous record by over a second and he then won the Individual Medley with a time of 58.52, beating the previous holder by over 7 seconds! Egan came through to win the cup as a House (by only 1 point!) with 112. Hawkings were in 2nd placed with 111, Dunbar in 3rd on 100 points with Awdry just 2 points behind them. A lovely day with superb effort by all the pupils.
