Many congratulations to the Pre-Prep Gardening Club who have been awarded their Level 4 RHS Gardening Award.
In order to gain this next level, the children had to :
- use tools like a professional gardener to dig, rake and sow
- know how to protect their plants against the weather, pests and diseases
- to plan seasonally to harvest produce throughout the year
- to know how to use the produce from their garden (the wonderful video of their Pumpkin Harvest certainly helped with this!)
Very well done to all the children, their prize of £100 worth of seeds from the RHS should arrive very soon, just in time to sow for the season ahead.
